Trifonov & Co is a US bookkeeping practice for trades, ecommerce, and service businesses. I am the founder, Kristiyan N. Trifonov. You will always know who is accountable for your books, and you will always get a straight answer about them.

Background

My background is in corporate finance through cost accounting at ExxonMobil and corporate banking assistance at CitiBank. The same rigor and integrity I applied at each of these positions is the same one applied to every account this practice takes on, because inaccurate accounting is often worse than near-zero accounting. I know what your books are supposed to look like. I know exactly how and what often goes wrong in accounting, as well as how to fix it in time for closing. In short, I bring your books to the standard the most profitable corporations keep their own: no balance unreconciled, no question unexplained, and no issue postponed to the weekend post-mortem.

What I Do; What I Don't

I keep your monthly books organized and closed on a fixed schedule, whether in QuickBooks Online or Xero. I do not file your taxes. Come tax season, your CPA gets a clean set of financials; no scrambling for documents, no surprise invoices, just a smooth handoff for your tax filing.

Pricing

Before any work starts, you receive a number, in writing. All rates, unless otherwise negotiated on exception, are flat and monthly. If a month runs heavier than quoted, the invoice does not change. If multiple months during a period run heavier than initially agreed, a call is scheduled to discuss the needs of your business. Important distinction: the first call is a discovery call - a fitness check in both directions. If we do not match, you will know exactly why. If your needs are better met by someone else, you will be referred.
